The world’s second largest show IIJS Premiere 2023, organised by GJEPC, was organized at two venues, Bombay Exhibition Centre, NESCO, Goregaon (4-8 August), and JIO World Convention Centre (3-7 August), consolidating its status as a foremost gem and jewellery sourcing exhibition.IIJS premiere has once again surpassed expectations with its highly successful event. Gurukurpa Exports was part of the IIJS premiere, the largest exhibition in India showcasing the work of jewellery maestros, visual artists and innovators. The eventshowcased a houseful show and witnessed an increase in attendance compared to the previous year.Bringing together over 8,00,000+ professionals from various sectors of the jewellery industry, IIJS provided a platform for product sourcing, education, networking opportunities and fostering collaboration.
Gurukrupa displayedaround 1500 pieces of jewellery, some of which had never been displayed publicly.The concept of this exhibit served as a metaphor for Gurukrupa’s intensive working process, requiring meticulous attention to detail. Our art embraced traditional aspects of Indian aesthetics, combining respect for the intrinsic qualities of working materials, the unique skill employed in creating them, and the element of time involved in their creation.
We exhibited various jewellery collections like Timeless, Vega, Elva, Verso, Antara, Divine and blossom etc. that the artisans had spent their entire creative time, interpreting and reinterpreting, experimenting with endless combinations of gemstones, mediums, styles, and aesthetics, and executing in their renowned techniques. The primary objective of the event was to drive expansion and promote synergy within the jewellery industry.
Mr Shailesh Ramani expressed his excitement about the outstanding show, stating, “It was another incredibly energetic and successful year for Gurukrupa.
